“Skis are definitely the tools that allow me to be more in contact, more in symbiosis with the environment, with nature, with the mountains. I define myself as a ski mountaineer.

For me the component of the ascent is just as important as the component of the top and the descent. On the ideal day, the perfect one, all three of these components are at their best, in the sense that a good technical climb is perhaps followed by a famous peak, which can be a mountain above 4000 m, and then again followed by a descent in good condition”.
