For climbers, the term socially useful may have a very different meaning.

Beauty, adventure and fear. The test of physical and mental strength.

Socialmente Inutile (Socially Useless) is a multi-pitch route in Val Masino, first opened in the late 90s in aid climbing, then freed by Simone Pedeferri in 2003.

Luca Schiera made the second free ascent on 25th May 2021.

The route is hard (up to 8b / 6c E7), exposed, and mostly through light aid-climbing equipment.
